Our mission is to foster a strong sense of community, enhance the quality of life for residents, and promote the unique character of Woodland Heights through active engagement, events, and advocacy. Join us in celebrating our heritage and building a brighter future together.

The Woodland Heights Civic Association (WHCA) is at the heart of our neighborhood, working tirelessly to maintain and enhance our unique community. We organize events, advocate for residents' interests, and preserve Woodland Heights's rich history. Discover more about our initiatives and how you can get involved.

We’re excited to share that the 2026 Lights in the Heights is set for Saturday, December 12, from 6 to 9 PM. This year, Highland and Omar streets, between Studewood and Beauchamp, will be featured.

Since May, volunteers have been hard at work. Different committees have come together to organize the event and raise the funds needed to make it happen.

At the July members meeting, neighbors chose their favorite young artist’s design for this year’s LITH cloisonné ornament. The top picks, along with one extra design that was missed in the vote, were sent to the manufacturer. This year, we’ll have two ornaments: one cloisonné and one glass. You can order them from the WHCA online store, and all purchased ornaments will be ready for pickup at the neighborhood-only Friday Night Lights event in December.

Up next is our annual fundraiser, the LITH Boots & Bow Ties BASH, happening on October 15. Tickets have already sold out. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and to our sponsors for supporting LITH.

We can’t wait to see everyone on October 15.
